Full Description

1940s-style cinnamon red-brown felt trilby.

A gorgeous color that is hard to describe: russet, cinnamon, rosewood, faded red? The styling is simple to let the color do the talking. Perfect to pair with a vintage-style suit, for that everyday “His Girl Friday” type of look.

♦ CONTENT and CONSTRUCTION:
Blocked by hand on wooden millinery blocks with vintage fur felt.

The crown is a unique indented asymmetrical shape. The brim turns up sharply in the back and is 2″ wide at the front.

A dark burgundy grosgrain ribbon band and bow decorate the hat with the simple styling perfect for an “everyday” vintage hat.

Unlined inside. Finished with a grosgrain ribbon head-size ribbon and brand label.

♦ FIT:
This 1940s trilby style is slightly perching — it fits on and fully covers the top of the head for an average head size (22″-22.5″), but it does not come down as low as the widest part of the head.

If you’d like some extra security (for wearing outdoors) or to wear as a true perching style for larger head sizes, you may add an elastic or comb to help secure it to your head. Please include a note with your order.
